The steady beat of the days ticking off are heard as we are about 10 days away from heading out. Much has been done and we just completed a haul out to check the rudder, bottom, zincs and thru hauls. We also added dynaplates for the SSB as shown in the photo. All is well and we are splashed again.

With the exception of the forward head which became clogged and has yet to get resolved and the watermaker water pick up pump we are all systems go. The last of the parts we've ordered have arrived and been installed. We did have one crew member drop out due to a health issue so it will be three of us running down the coast to San Francisco which will be plenty.

Saturday is a party at the dock for friends and family to wish us well and then next week will be the final provisioning/stowing. Friday we will deliver our car to the garage for long term storage and Saturday morning we set off. Hectic, crazy and exciting!
