Montague Harbour Day 2

19 May 2007
Yesterday we took it easy. John baked cookies, and I updated our Web site with the photos John took at Butchart Garden. We took the dinghy to shore, but there really isn't anything to do there. Starting this weekend, there's a free shuttle bus in the evening to the Hummingbird Pub. We don't know where or what that is, but we plan to check it out.

We're also having our first real rain since we left Puget Sound. The weather has been amazingly good so far. Even now, we're getting periods of clearing. The Gulf Islands and Victoria, and even Vancouver, I guess, are supposed to have a little better weather than other parts of the Pacific Northwest. I haven't checked the rainfall statistics to see if there's any truth to that.
