We had dinner last night with Denis and Veronica. Denis is the first person we met when we arrived here. He's originally from the Azores. Veronica is from South Africa, but both are Canadian citizens now. They're heading out in 2010 on their circumnavigation, and there's a chance we could see them somewhere too. Now they're also going to help push us off the dock.
Today's my dad's birthday. John sent him an e-card last night since he had the connection.
