Today we're leaving Gorge Harbour. It's been a great place to hang out for a few days. The people we've met here have been very nice. Tara, who runs the dock, gave John some advice about places to visit in Desolation Sound. (And we caught three crabs off the boat, thanks to her advice.) Barb, the manager, was very patient with our Internet demands. Our two-computer boat isn't exactly what they're set up for, but she worked it out.

Doing the laundry took most of the afternoon yesterday because they really need those new driers that are sitting there ready to be installed. I met some nice people during that time, though. I especially enjoyed talking with Macy from LNVT Lady. (I don't know what LNVT means, but Lady is a tug, I think.

We're going to drop anchor closer to Campbell River, so we can just zip across the passage tomorrow to meet Sydney and Mike.
