Yesterday we moved to the Outpost dock at Winter Harbour. It isn't fancy. In fact, it's rough concrete with no bumpers, so we docked very carefully. We're the only sailboat here. The rest are fishing boats, and they're doing really well at catching fish. In fact, one boat said they had "too many fish" and gave John a huge salmon filet and a whole salmon. John still wants to catch his own, but if he doesn't, we won't be eating hotdogs.

The other neat thing about this dock is that a sea otter hangs out here. Yesterday while John was fishing for bait, he heard a crunching noise. When he turned around, he saw the sea otter munching on a crab just on the other side of the dock. John called me into the cockpit, and we both watched him until a fishing boat came in and the otter moved away.

Today, weather permitting, we're going to Klaskino Inlet.
