Beautiful but foggy in the morning

Wednesday we were off to the hotel with Alonzo for breakfast and a 75 min presentation. Three hours later I had to drag Denny kicking and screaming out of the hotel so that he didnt buy a "private residence club" ( The facts are that he was pretty reasonable with his "I told you so" during the day) (for more see the Kokomo blog linked here on the front page of the blog). Thats right they figured out that "timeshare" is a word with a negative conotation so they have changed the term to private residence club. But the basic concept is the same and certainly doesnt fit the cruisers lifestyle. The flamingo where we were ,was indeed beautiful and after we told 3 different levels of salespeople NO we escaped their clutches and Denny and I went zip lining and the girls stayed by the pool and imagined what it would be to stay a week at a 5 star resort.
The zip line was terrific and we were impressed with the staff at the zip line park. They were all pretty fluent in English and had a comedy patter that was both reasurring and entertaining. Once again while both having fun and acting the tourist we were amazed at what constitues "safe" in Mexico would be unable to operate in the states. We traversed 11 zip lines many of them quite long and certainly very fast over a river gorge until we reached the bottom of the gorge and then we rode mules back to the top as the end of the activity. Denny and I had a ball but I know Connie would not be able to do the heights so she enjoyed her relaxing day at the pool.
