Saturday we moved 3 miles from Santiago Bay to Manzanillo Bay and anchored off the Las Hadas Marina and Resort (it means faires or fairy tales)
For you trivia buffs this is where the movie "10" with Bo Derek was filmed.

We are anchored outside this marina which is "med moor" only marina (stern to a dock with anchor in the center).

We made contact with three other boats all going south. Varuna with Mitch and Ann, Jeorgia with Paul and Chris, and Le Bateau with Calvin. So with Kokomo and Sound Effect we had five boats all going south. This was cause for an impromtu get together "sundowners" onboard Sound Effect.
We exchanged plans and agreed to stay in touch as we head south.
We are a tiny minority of boats as the greatest majority is now vacating the southern waters and migrating north to put their boats away for the summer and head home to come back again in the fall.
We dubbed ourselves the bringing up the rear gang.

Today is a Home Depot run and sitting by the pool in the resort (we hope)
