Perfect
We are having a great time in Antigua. The weather is perfect after El Salvador, the people are friendly and helpfull and the city is charming.
We spend 4 hours each morning in class, then lunch (the big meal of the day)
at our host family's home then usually an afternoon activity, a walk around town, a visit to a coffee plantation, or today a visit to a Macadamian nut farm.
We have been very fortunate because our host family are actually Spanish teacher themselves and we get additional instruction at the dining table without even knowing it.
We have only just found an internet cafe where we can get WiFi so the posts have been lacking but we will try to make up for it.
This weekend we will travel to Lake Aititlan and other sites.
Next weekend we may got to Tikal ( a famous Mayan ceremonial site)
Traveling in CA is interesting and rewarding
The picture is of an open air laundry from colonial times but still in use
(We dropped our laundry off today at a more modern lavenderia)
