We spent two months in the pool at the Bahia Del sol hotel while we were anchored in the estuary in El Salvador. Every afternoon we gathered in the pool for conversation and a cool drink. Since that time we continue to enjoy "pool" time when anchored out. Usually nearby is Kokomo and they swim over to the stern of Sound Effect. We enjoy some "pool" time often floating by sitting on our boat fenders to make it easier to stay behind the boat. Often there are libations served to cap off the swim. Rating of an anchorage includes can we swim? Is the water clear? Just now we are anchored in Las Brisas and the answer is unfortuantely NO! The water is dirty and we cant swim which is a huge negative for this anchorage. However it is a quick cab ride to everything and there is ice cream on the nearby causeway so we will struggle by.
