While anchored in Las Brisas Panama, on Monday morning we got a phone call on our recently purchased cell phone that Elizabeth Blakely Merritt was born to Andrew and Stephanie Merritt.
Al though , not as good as being there, we were able to share the excitement with the happy couple back in Milford Ohio. A healthy 8lb 2oz granddaughter was launched on her due date which ironically is Labor day. We will be flying back soon to visit and see the young lady as well as our first grandchild Owen, and associated parents, grandparents, uncles and aunts etc. It has turned into a little family reunion and we are looking forward to that.
For all you people looking for boat news and related cruising information you will have to wait as I enjoy my status as abuelo (I know Debby knows but for all you gringo's that grandfather)
