Tucked Away in the Rain

Its a cold and wet day outside. The rain and fog combined with old, moss covered trees along the shore is both oppressive and comforting at the same time. With nothing in sight except for the forest, cliffs, and a few segulls, it is hard to believe that we are just a few miles from Victoria, and literally a mile or two from our previous house at Willis Point.
It's been a while since I've anchored here. As Dee and I sit inside the boat, toasty and warm, I am reminded again why I like off season cruising so much. No crowds, no generators, nobody else at all really. Just the sound of the rain, a few good books, and not much else....
