Saying Good-bye Is Better With Rain
07 October 2015 | Victoria, BC
Mark
After nearly a month for me, and nearly two months for Dee, it is time to leave Victoria and fly back to Mazatlan and Speakeasy.
It's been an excellent visit! We spent lots of time with family and even got to see many of our friends and past co-workers. The boat part shopping has been highly productive and I'm really looking forward to diving into the boat projects! For a boater, a big batch of boat parts is even better than Christmas.
The weather has been extremely cooperative during our visit. I don't think we have even had a day of rain - until today. Now, as I sit in my home office and look out the window I am reminded of those long rainy, dark days that we have been able to escape. Don't get me wrong! I really love Victoria but I don't mind missing our damp winter weather.
Right on cue, we have a perfectly gray, soaking-wet day, to put a smile on our face as we work hard to figure out how to put 6 cubic feet of boat parts in a 4 foot bag! Mexico here we come again!
