Mark & Deanna
Marlee thanks for letting know about the Tsunami in Japan. Much appreciated!
Good news for us on two points. First, for boat at sea, tsunami's are not a threat because in deep water they are long low waves. They only become dangerous as they reach shallow water. If we were already at an anchorage, and a tsunami came ashoere there, we could be in trouble.
Second, we get alerted to tsunami's through our satellite email system on the boat. Just like emergency personnel receive these warnings, we are subscribed as well.
Having said that, thanks for keeping our safety in mind.
