Spindrift survived the near-pass of hurricanes Irma and Maria, which is a big relief. Some of the tarps blew off but that was more or less expected. Of course all the sails were removed prior to placing on the hard, and being behind the building probably helped. Our hearts go out to those impacted, maybe we can find a way to help the recovery when we arrive in the area. Hope no more big ones this season....

We're focused on cleaning out and fixing up our houses for renting, meeting with friends and family the last few times before we depart. it's only a few weeks to go..... Panic-mode hasn't set in yet but there's a lot to do and not much time!
