USS Midway

This past Sunday, we visited the USS Midway. This massive aircraft carrier was discommissioned in 1992, after spending the last 47 years in the US Navy. Its odyssey stretched from the end of WWII to it's last days in Kuwait, in 1991. The self guided, audio tour was great and we both felt we saw a majority of the ship. To anyone visiting San Diego, we highly recommend the USS Midway as a tourist stop.
