London Vacation?

12 June 2011 | Not a Chance, there are no Taco Carts there!
Capt Rich
I find out this morning that despite being at the Juarez Market buying all the Mangos I could carry for $0.30/lb to make Jam, that I'm actually in London! Well folks, there ain't no Taco Carts in London so right away anyone that knows me could sniff out the scam nature of the hacked email. Now if they would have said that I blew all our money at a Mexican Taco Cart, then it would have been more realistic! For fun, here's what was sent out:

How are you doing? Honesty, I'm doing awful. I'm on a trip with family visiting London,UK but unfortunately we've been having a rough experience. We got robbed last night by a gang of thugs on our way back to the hotel and all our cash and credit cards were stolen but looking on the bright side no one was seriously injured. I have filed a police report to get our case archived with the consulate but they haven't been of much assistance and asked we contact friends back home for financial help. We are having some problems here clearing bills with the hotel because our card on file with the hotel declined charged after cards got stolen, it appeared they have tried to run charges on our card and the transaction raised flags and was blocked. I'm wondering if you could please loan me some money to clear our bills so that we can be on a flight back home today. I promise to refund you as soon as I arrive home.
Thank you,

Amy and I just got back from the market and made the decision on the bus ride back that it's now officially WAY TOO hot to be in Mazatlan! So hopefully we will be crossing to Baja right after Lori's Doctor appointment tomorrow because if not, we could simply die of heat and humidity! Which come to think of it could be worse than being robbed in London!
