My Country music hero George Jones passed away this week, and his famous song titled "He Stopped Lovin Her Today" was playing on the radio as Jason and I paid our final resects to our Walker Bay Dinghy burried atop the Cold Canyon landfill. Love wasn't quite the emotion we were feeling as we dragged the deflated carcus off the trailer after having to pay the $30 dump fee. It was fitting that the dinghy sucked us down one last time to end our embittered relationship that started back in 2008. A more appropriate song would have been "Tell me Why Baby Why Baby, you make me cry baby", another one of Geroge's long list of hits. We have friends with 10 year old dinghys still going strong while our is now, as Geroge would sing, "Six feet Deep, Six feet down". George Jones has hundreds of songs about life, death, love, broken hearts, and break-ups and I think I could work his song titles into my range of thoughts about our dinghy.
