La Paz to Mazatlan

I woke up famished after my two-hour post watch nap. I was craving a bacon, tomato and avocado sandwich and a beer. However, I had a coke, just felt like it should have been a beer and forget the lettuce cause that stuff just doesn’t hold up down here (if you can find decent lettuce in the first place).
We are halfway to Mazatlan from La Paz and in the middle of a whole lot of nothing, 111 miles to go. Thank god the rolling has stopped. Rolling seas are just not fun. The auto pilot is working fabulously. It’s a Simrad, in case you’re wondering.
We left La Paz with a good amount of wind all in the wrong places so we motored for a bit until we left the channel and then we motored some more to get around the north side of Isla Ceralvo. From there we sailed until about 2 hours ago when Brian woke up and the wind died. The swells were 2-4 feet coming from the north, just obnoxious, and the wind was off our port quarter. We were making pretty good time but we had to stray from our course.
And that’s about all there is. Exciting hmm?
