Taking a dinghy ashore was tricky because of the shore breakers. We decided to take a water taxi that the restaurants provided in the form of a panga boat. I really wish I would have taken a video of our ride to shore. The panga boat had a huge engine and after watching for swells, floored it and drove the panga all the way up the beach out of the water! There were people sitting in chairs ten feet from where we landed. It was fun and hilarious. It took 2 or 3 guys to turn the panga around to get it back in the water.
Everyone came to the beach for dinner. The restaurant, Fannies, was right there on the shore in the sand. It was nice to meet everyone and have some laughs. The food was pretty good too and the service fantastic!
