Until finally the clouds get so full and dark, it starts to thunder and lightening and the rain starts coming down as it is now.
Two days ago we got almost four inches in an hour. That was probably the biggest rain storm we've had. One crack of thunder was very close and loud.
We've been watching the storms come up the coast and change from Tropical Depressions into Hurricanes. They travel on a west northwesterly path. The closest one has been Frank. Although it was around 300 miles away, we could feel the rolling here in the marina from the seas it was creating outside.
