The Day after the night before

Oh what a night. Lumpy seas 2-3m swells. Wind 25kts from the East, double reefed Main, staysail and at times a little bit of head sail. Thomas and Kevin battled gut wrenching seasickness. The wind started to veer in the morning and we took the main down and are now running with just the head sail. The swells are currently about 3 meters and the wind slowing developing more east. It's a good 30kts plus. The sun is shining and our spirits have lifted. Tom and Kevin have kept down some sustenance. North Cape is in our sights and we hope to jibe around in a few hours. Log says we have done 189nm in the last 24hours perhaps a little optimistic but close. We are making good time.
