It was an early start today as we were heading out to a surf spot with Marc before he had to leave to catch his flight back to Auckland. The water was a little lumpy and the current a bit strong. It was a very good surf sport though and Marc and Dylan enjoyed the big waves. The rest of the crew sent the drone up and also snorkelled in the nearby vicinity. Despite some strong currents, and difficulty staying in one place for the snorkelers, the water was super clear and well worth it. We managed to spot some small reef sharks metres below us. We returned to our respective boats to rest and have a hot drink. The rest of the day was spent foiling, venturing out to the sandbank for another snorkel trip in shallower waters and then a final snorkel trip afterwards where we spotted clown fish, puffer fish and moray eel among many other species.
