Vessel Name: | White Squall |
Hailing Port: | Victoria, Canada |
Crew: | A Pix of the Admiral and Captain |
White Squall's workshop is located in the forward section of the vessel just aft of the chain locker.
White Squall's master cabin is located just forward of the vessel center to provide the least motion in a seaway.
White Squall's hydraulic anchor winch was built by Smith Bros. in Victoria. The main drum has 50' of 7/16" chain connected to 250 feet of 3/4" Nylon anchor rode. The main anchor is a 30 Kg. Bruce.
The annual haulout! Not a big problem given the size of the vessel. Just a matter of power washing and repainting the antifouling. As White Squall only has two through hull fittings, greasing and maintenance is not a big problem.
