We left at 9am to catch the tide and arrived in loch Salen at 11.30, well, this is an adventure (land and sea) and it wouldn’t be if we never managed to get off the boat. The marina is a lovely little place, everything you would need, showers, fuel, electric, shop, cafe and a hotel down the road and lots of little walks around Sunart Oakwoods. We thought we would make a start on the walks as we plan to stay here for two nights, on our way back (via the hotel bar) we found a frog on a very busy road - so near and yet so far, so we did what could have been described as a cha cha cha and not in a good way, stamping out feet behind the frog to encourage him to safety and quickly! So we can now add to our CV, frog saviour! I’m not bigging this up am I? Moi!?!? 😜
