The main marina is on a small island (Kerrera), so we have booked the passenger ferry to take us to Oban for a walk and some shopping, while the rest of the uk, including parts of Scotland basks in 23 plus degrees of sunny warm weather the forecast here is rain and a high of 15 degrees. But, it is so nice to be clean and have clean clothes, starting to feel human again. Talking to others here the weather has been strange, although for the last 5 years people have told us the good dry weather was the exception. I know I'm lucky to be in this position, freedom is a wonderful thing and I feel the first couple of weeks is a period of adjustment.
