A really enjoyable, lively sail, the entrance to Loch Aline can be quite shallow so not much talking and a lot of pulling faces in concentration.
We have been here before so it was on shore for a walk to the shop for a few bits we had forgotten in Oban. Much to Phil’s delight he found a gas bottle which calor are no longer supplying and what was a bonus, it was at 2021 prices!
This place is also where they mine the very fine sand which is used to produce glass (see picture, although it looks like snow this is actually sand on the road and at the sides.)
