As soon as we awoke Phil calculated we had 3hrs of tide going the right way 🤭, so it was off and on our way, eating cereal on the go, as the wind was right on the beam we motored to mallaig.

chris the harbour master as always was great, we needed fuel, water and provisions. Mallaig has not had a working fuel station for 4 weeks (leak in the pipes). The nearest petrol station is fort William 50 miles away! Luckily we could order red diesel (at a bargain price of 85p a litre), but had to carry it back to the boat. Hearing there are no pontoon fuel births and we would have to go up-to a stone fishing jetty anywhere north - this was a definite to do!! It's still cloudy and 10 degrees but I'm warming to mallaig!!
