Well, our reception into the Port of Corinto is everything that Honduras was not. Pedantic bureaucracy and churlish officials. Perhaps this was because we arrived after 4:00 pm on a sunday and appeared to have rousted immigration officials from their afternoon nap. In any event, it was a lesson in patience. The port Captain and naval officials were much more pleasant. The best part of the check in experience was being driven around in a "trice" to the various offices. a bicycle rickshaw that seats two people on a bench in front, which the driver on the bike portion in back. Our driver was super helpful and waited for us through all our paperwork.
