Albin Vega Interior view
14 December 2011 | My Liberty Bay
Changing day and night!

Had a very calm day out here, so I climbed into the dinghy with my handle brush and cleaned the organic algae and grunge. This entails a hand clinging to the gunnel of the sailboat, while laying sprawled flat and hanging over the little boat and scrubbing like a madman. All the way around fighting to keep the dinghy to my best advantage.
So this morning I woke up somewhat sore in the shoulders and wondering why.
One time my ex-wife was complaining about having a sore leg each morning. We talked about it a few times, no less, trying to figure what it could be. I finally asked if she perhaps anytime recently had a trip or fall. "oh, maybe it was when I fell out of the tree last week!" she says, "I climbed up that big hemlock tree behind the horse stalls to look into a bird nest, and slipped on the way back down." How far did you fall?? "Not too far...and the branches slowed me down." I think I know why your leg hurts...it's telling you it needs to take it easy for a spell. Why didn't you remember such an event earlier on?? Wow.
Outdoor temp got down to 27 deg. last night. Boat interior hovered at 43 deg. The bay surface is at 42 deg. and the bottom at high tide is 41 Deg.
