What a feast & Steven becomes an apprentice
Not content with taking us out on their boat, Jordi and Rosa kindly invited us to their home to celebrate the Fiesta de Santa Rosa.
Chores, swimming and a midnight treat of defrosting the fridge!
Steven wiped off the decks using the morning dew and then took to the dinghy to clean the topsides, whilst, I cleaned inside and started researching other locations on the island and how best to see the sights.
After lunch was swim time, and today, I decided to take a lap of the boat so using my trusty float I set off and made it round not once but twice!
Perhaps I will make it without the float by the end of the season. Steven decided whilst snorkeling to scrub the undersides with our old deck brush to remove some of the slime build up which has started to slow us down a little.
Later in the evening, once no more power was being created by the solar panel we noticed that the fridge was struggling so set about defrosting it for efficiency.
This job lasted till midnight so the glamour never stops.
