Tomorrow for sure!

Well, there were just too many details to actually leave today. We got the shed that had been filled with our stuff empty and the boat is pretty well loaded. We have two weeks for food, fuel (both in the tank and in Jerry cans on deck), the new electronics are working well enough to navigate very safely, all the sails and rigging are up and ready....we have just a bit more stowing and securing things, filling our water tanks, etc, and we should be off in the morning. of course, as one of our most experienced cruising friends reminded me, it's bad luck to start a passage on a Friday, so the extra day can't hurt!
Nature is being kind and has opened a massive weather window for us with with no winds over 20 knots predicted anywhere on our route for the next week...Of course, that means light air so Evelyn spent an hour up the mast this evening fixing our steaming light and getting our spinnaker halyard rigged. We may need that big sail!
