Back to Wanim anchorage

Thursday 17 October began as a lazy day but soon we made the huge decision to move back around the corner to the original Wanim anchorage. Desire and Waverly were still here. Graeme and Andy cleaned Andy's green bearded waterline so that he won't be refused entry back into Australia. Jamie and I did some washing in Quintessa's washing machine, much to Jamie's delight. Made a fabulous loaf of bread and took it to Andy's where we had roast beef and beetroot relish sandwiches, shared with three local kids who had been hanging around watching us for ages from their dugout. They sat wide-eyed and giggling on the cockpit floor relishing their Dim Dim food and eating their fill.
In the afternoon we went for a troll along the reef (no luck!) and a wander along the beach as the sky paled towards sunset. We had a quiet night with dinner by ourselves (a rare occurrence!) and watched a movie.
