Touring Savannah

Our A/C converted to heat during the night with the temperature outside falling to 53 degrees. Had a nice leisurely breakfast and then left the boat at 9:15 to catch an Uber into Savannah.
We decided to take the 1 1/2 hour trolley tour to see the city and hear the history. We stopped at the visitors center first and were given a coupon for $5 off each of our tickets. We had a very knowledgeable driver and enjoyed the tour. At 3 stops actors boarded and were portraying historical figures and gave a little story. The only issue we had was they had accents and it was hard to understand all they were saying. When the tour finished we walked down to River St. and walked along the waterfront and went into various shops along the way. We bought some t-shirts, tray for cheese and crackers that has a picture of some of the row houses in Savannah and the most important buy - an anti itch stick for our bug bites!
We called for an Uber and the address it gave the driver was not where we were so we had to walk a few blocks to that address. Of course we weren’t sure if we were at the right address, and Tom’s phone had only 1% left so we couldn’t communicate with the driver, but he found us.
We gave him the address of the marina and we were on our way. As he was driving we didn’t recognize any of the places he was passing and started to think we were going the wrong way. John looked on his phone and sure enough we were on our way to Tybee Island instead of Tybee Rd. He turned around and we finally got to the marina.
Back to our boats and Linda and I each did a load of wash. John meanwhile discovered an issue with the bilge and remedied the situation. After al our chores were done we played nine rounds of golf. John and Tom won!
We returned to our boat around 10:30. We will leave for Hilton Head in the morning.
