They say that there is a legend in La Paz. It has to do with a bungee that seems to attach to your boat and your body if you start thinking of leaving La Paz. Sure enough it happened to us. The bungee is firmly attached to us to the extent that we extended our slip here in La Paz for one more week. We swear though that we will leave and head off for Mazatlan for Christmas. The bungee, no doubt, will still be attached but loose enough to allow us to depart as long as we promise to be back in April which is our plan.

We have really enjoyed our stay here in La Paz and I can see why people retire here. The City is really cool and has some outstanding cultural events. The people are very friendly and it is very safe here. Penny and I walk everywhere so we are getting our exercise. There is a fabulous bread store here that is as good as or better than Con Pane or Bread & Cie.

Next Sunday I will help out on the race committee for the Rock to the Dock race in La Paz harbor. I think it is more party time than race time and you are supposed to have your barbeque on the rail. Should be interesting and I will get pictures.

We have been tardy in blogging as we have been totally relaxed and just letting the time go by in beautiful La Paz.
