On the move again
12 January 2011 | Chamela Bay
Fred
We left La Cruz last night at midnight and had very little wind until we reached Cabo Corrientes where we were met with opposing current and a rolling sea. After rounding Corrientes the swell was behind us and it was a more comfortable ride. Our destination was Chamela Bay which is 96 miles or about 15 hours away. We arrived in Chamela and got the anchor down at 2:45 so just short of the 15 hour prediction. It is calm here and we are with 14 other boats. We napped this afternoon and Penny whipped my butt in cribbage twice! and we are about to eat dinner and turn in early with a good book. Tomorrow we will put the dinghy in the water and explore the village and Penny has her eyes set on a long hike.
