Sayulita to Guadalajara
03 February 2016 | Roca Azul RV Park
Fred/sunny and chilly
We left about 10:00 bound for Guadalajara. Had to backtrack about 70 miles to pick up the toll road. Nice drive through beautiful country and uneventful until we got to Guad. That's what the locals call it. Our GPS lady was having a hard time making us understand her slight right and hard rights and use of laterals to make turns. Not always easy and we spent a very frustrating hour going round in circles trying to get on the right road to go south to Lake Chapala. We made it and are still talking to each other but not to the GPS bitch!
Arrived in the Roca Azul RV park where a caravan from Quebec is staying. Must be 20+ big rigs, I mean big like 45 feet. Found a spot and set up but there was no one around. I thought maybe they were all gassed out in their rigs but turns out they are on a Tequila tasting tour. Not back as I write this at 8:00PM so it should be quiet in the morning..
