After spending a couple nights just south of the Welsh Causeway bridge in Madeira Beach. This was not our favorite anchorage for sure. Bright lights at night, noisy at times and then there was the morning black birds...think Hitchcock.
Charlie did get cockpit lights working on the one day it rained while we were here.
while Eileen made Brownies
We moved onto Gulfport on Sunday and are here until tomorrow when we plan to head offshore on our first overnight sail to Boca Grande Pass. We're waiting on a weather window. It's supposed to be wind around 10 knots from the north for the next three days beginning tomorrow which will be perfect.
We've had fun here, it's a beautiful place.
Our new favorite beach bar not only for it's name, Eileen's grand daughter but for the fantastic food and great prices. If you're ever in the area eat there!
We also provisioned. A 1.8 mile walk as the crow flies turned into a 5 mile walk around the bay. We ubered back for $10, not bad. Then took the goodies to the TARDIS
Mostly we enjoyed kayaking and enjoying the outstanding scenery.
Happy February everyone. We still don't miss working the boat show!
