Clouds. Surprisingly Windy. S 10-15
After herding the children out of the house in two cars, we had a very fun lunch at the Thames Waterside Inn, which has yet to disappoint. The whole crew came. Amazing what a free lunch will do.
Went on down to the boat with faint hope of a sail. That never happened but as the famous rat said "there's nothing so much fun as messing about in boats". I'd promised to teach Calum to drive the outboard. Instead Henry and Helena got the lesson (we went over to the restaurant on the East shore - the "boathouse") and then basically rowed themselves around in circles for an hour, one oar each. Next time Cal.
Regan, Andrew and I ventured into Fall River to buy provisions (interesting indeed! Some of those shoppers filled the aisle single handedly) and we grilled supper on the stern rail.
