Friday May 14:
A pretty run up Skull Creek, into & across Port Royal sound, & up the Beaufort River to Beaufort SC. A cute little town with a bunch of history. They've done a great job on the waterfront, with several cafes, restaurants, ice-cream joint, & a bar.
Borrowed the car for an hour & ran to the grocery & liquor stores to re-provision (they did not want a drivers license or anything, just the boat keys - they were kidding about the boat keys). A neat & very layed-back place.

Tomorrow we run up the wide Coosaw River & into the Edisto River, where we will anchor for the night, before a run into Charleston on Sunday. So no communications tomorrow.
