The seas have dropped a bit and are now about 2.5 meters and winds are 15-20 from the SSE making for a most pleasant day again. Last night was magical with billions of stars, very few clouds, and a small moon illuminating a shimmering path to the north. We have found our stride. Warm sunshine soothes the cockpits and it will soon be time to shed a layer.
After a few false starts, we left NZ in a hurry. Other times we were sure the cooking fuel was topped up. Not this time, and we ran out yesterday. Now I'm glad we have a microwave! Sure hope we can fill both our fiberglass propane tanks in New Cal rather than having to rely on this one "okay in NZ" tank. But, as I recall, we don't do a lot of cooking in the tropics. It's been so long, I've forgotten.
