The Mobile Bay crossing went fine today, a little rolling at times but not bad. We got waked by a giant ship that was really interesting. Biggest wake we've ever experienced! No wind so we still had to motor down to the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway and get in the "ditch" for a while. Nice trip through an area in and around Gulf Shores. We are anchored just outside of Barber Marina for the night. Tomorrow will be a short day to Pensacola in time to catch a little of the Blue Angels air show. If the weather holds Monday will be our first foray out into the Gulf for a day passage to Destin Harbor.
