Back to Blue Water
24 June 2014
Tuesday 17th Since we made pretty good time motoring thru the last leg of the Okeechobee canal and still had a few hours daylight we decided not to stop in Stuart FL. We motored on and made it outside with only one minor grounding incident. The Southwest wind was blowing against an incoming tide which made our exit a bit bumpy. Back to 3 hour watches at night. Sailing the Atlantic side of Florida is a lot more relaxing......no offshore exploration industry, no platforms, workboats or rigs.
