We made it to Annapolis MD.

Sherry, 51 degress, & Raining

I am having alot of trouble with Internet not sure why. We made it to Annapolis but not without any hitches we had to cut the lock off the trailer for seaotter cause the people with the boat storage never showed up so after waiting 3 hrs Todd cut the lock off and then we headed out. We stopped for gas in jacksonville Fl. and while Todd was gasing up I checked the trailer tires and notice one had blown so after three tire shops we found one that had the tires so as we waited in the 90 degree heat (see mercury in the photos) we got 2 new back trailer tires put on then we headed out.
About 30 miles down the road we pulled over to check the tires and notice we blew one of the front trailer tires so we hoppled into a small town called Pooler Georgia just outside Savannah got a hotel room cause it was now 9:30pm. Found a tire shop in the morning and they had 2 tires so we replaced both front trailer tires so we should be good ( we should be fortunate cause the trailer tires are very rare). We get into annapolis on Thursday night after having a guided tour of the whitehouse in Washington thanks to the gps. We were unable to get the ladder unlocked which wouldn`t have helped anyways as it was way to small. So we pulled Seaotter to the stern of thar be dragons climbed up Seaotter then onto the stern of thar be dragons once we did that we went to open up thar be dragons and yep you guessed it we forgot the combination at home (can it get any worse) so once again Todd had to cut the lock off (he`s getting really good at that) So we got sort of settled in and had a drink then went to bed.
It`s now saturday October 9 and we are off to the boat show. We take a sea taxi over to the boat show (pics added) bought some goodies and wow the boat show is huge and it was very hot 86 degress we had a chance to meet Bob & Jodi Bitchin at the boat show, Bob and Jodi are fantastic people had a great conversation picked up some goodies from the lats & atts store and had our pics taken with them.
Sunday I started to clean thar be dragons OMG is it dirty I spent the whole day cleaning the master stateroom and Todd spent the day scratching his head because everytime he went to install one of the electronics there was a part missing or was the wrong part. I took a tumble today down the companion way backwards the steps are very slippery (will have to fix that asap) there are 5 steps I landed on my back but not before i scrapped up my ribs, hip and the inside of my left leg I am ok. Very sore the next morning with a small amount of bruising by day three I was fine. Spent monday cleaning the fridge and forward head-bathroom the previous owner had boat maintenance equipment in every nook and cranny.
The weather has been great in the mid 80`s I have cleaned the kitchen the main head-bathroom under and behind the settee`s the only thing I have left is the quarter berth and the V-berth which will probly take me at least 2-3 more days. Todd has been busy re-routing wires that the previous owner put where ever he pleased so now all the wires are behind the walls. Todd bought me a Rocket stick so i would be able to get internet and that worked the first day so we have to find a phone to call tech support and see if they can fix the problem, so right now im using the internet in the sailors lounge at the marina. Todd went to start the generator today and the pull cord broke so now we have 2 generators that wont work Todd will fix one tomorrow and take the other one in to a repair shop. Today it was chilly(Wed) raining and it was only 51 degress F tomorrow is suppose to be better but very windy then its suppose to be nice on the weekend. We still havent received any of the new replacement parts for the electronics yet hopefully tomorrow.
