Since our last post we have been to Fort Lauderdale, Miami and Key Biscayne Florida. In Fort Lauderdale we anchored with friends Gary & Jayne from the catarmaran Dream Catcher formally Party of two. We visited our favorite raw bar at the end of the channel leading away from lake Sylvie. I made a pig of myself by eating 118 of the 24 oysters we ordered myself. Next day we left from Fort Lauderdale on the outside to Government Cut in Miami Florida. Oops! Took the wrong channel past the cruise ships and were escorted out by the Miami Dade Police. around about way and we were in the venetian causewayour favorite place to anchor in Miami. Spent a couple days checking out south beach (where Brad $ Todd wore sunglasses), provisioning and checking out some of the restaraunts. Chech out the picture of Brads burger at the restaraunt Burgers & Beer. Left during high tide on day three for No Name Harbour in Key Biscayne. Spent the day around the park sun tanning and relaxing. The next day we left and enetered Hawk Channel on route tyo Rodriquez key. On the outside due to our draft. A beautiful day sailing the winds were perfect andf the water is getting clearer. We will leave tomorrow for Boot Key Harbor also known as Marathon. We will hold up there for a few days during Christmas and also a front is moving in. Yesterday Todd changed the oil in the boat as we have sailed 1400 miles since the last oil change. Today I made bread & buns on the boat since I promised I would if Todd fixed the oven.
