The day all sailors Regret

Sherry, Cool & Breezy
As we sit here under the boat cover that we put on yesterday (Friday) reminiscing of the things we accomplished this year it truly brings a tear to my eyes or maybe it's the fact that the sailing season is finished for this season and we will be leaving our girl behind for the next 6-7 months. Either way I am not having fun at this point as I/we have cleaned the bilges, washed the inside of the boat down with vinegar & water, got rid of all extra food on board polished the stainless steel removed all sails and bimini stowed dinghy motor and the list goes on and on and on as we all know. Even though it is sad we are very comfortable leaving her here as we know she will be safe. I have added a few pics most likely for the last time this cruising season. Over the next few months my hands will heal from all the cuts a bruises, my foot will heal from dropping the the dinghy on it and I will be back home where the weather is cooler so my Prickly Heat will heal. The tuff part is yet to come and that will be to re-start our life over in what we call Dirt World.
So why do we do this????
