Since my last blog entry I have sanded, epoxied and varnished the same peice of Teak 9 times can you believe that, it keeps flasking on me and turning cloudy not sure whats going on but im getting very frustrated to say the least. Today finally all went well got the first coat of varnish on in the cockpit and will give a light sand tomorrow and then put the last coat of varnish on. I have striped, sanded and put the first coat of epoxy on the stairs leading below deck its going to look great when its all finished. After that we have a few odds and sods to do then we will splash the boat.
It looks like we might have a weather window to cross to the Bahamas next Monday the 27 so that will be perfect timing if it works out that way. We still have to do our major provisioning and get all our laundry done and the sails put back on the boat. My daughter, grande daughter and son inlaw will be joining us this year in the Bahamas for a few weeks I cant wait to show them the life style of cruising.
