Todd use to dream about sailing to get away from the rat race of the everyday life of work, work and more work. [...]Most friends, family and co-workers thought he was crazy (when he spoke of it) Then he met Sherry who he quickly found out was just as crazy as he was and loved the idea of sailing to new and exotic places.(who was never in anything larger then a 14' aluminum fishing boat). So Todd bought a sailboat a 25' PSC we took sailing courses, radio courses etc to prepare ourselves and sherry bought a 8' dinghy and off we went to Florida where we put the boat in the water and headed to the Bahamas (weather permitting). We made it and spent four months sailing about and testing the waters and we both quickly found out that this was the life for us. So we have purchase a larger sailboat A 42' Vagabond(to keep Sherry happy) and off we go again.
This blog will take you into our adventure and will tell you more about us, and since most of you already know us it will be my job to keep this Blog as interesting as possible so you keep coming back.
We will spend five months each year(winter) for the time being and sail around to different [...]
ports and enjoy paradise, sunshine, turquoise waters, different sunsets every night and a different sunrise everyday. I remember the smells and feel of the ocean breeze on my face, the sound of the waves passing over the hull and the feel of the fine sand between my toes and for five months there will be no shoes, no pants only shorts and tank tops (sometimes not even that). There will be sundowners in the cockpit with friend (some old, some new) and family, or potlucks on the beach the choices are endless and the choice is yours.
