Decent Day's Run

Our noon to noon run yesterday was 156 miles. Not too bad considering we have been avoiding the spinnaker since the wind came up. We've jibed down the coast today with poled out genoa. Wind has strengthened to 20-25 and once in a while we get a nice long surf on a wave which is pretty fun. We were discussing changing to the big chute as the wind had decreased to 17, but since it was quite rolly, decided against is which was a good thing as shortly thereafter the wind was blowing 24. We've agreed to wait for a little less breeze before popping the monster (as it's never been hoisted on the boat.) Just going to do roll call now to report our info and find out where other boats are, so gotta run. :
