Work continues on s/v PENRYN, a Ballerina II, sail number 217, a bilge keel sailboat built in Penryn, Cornwall, England. She will be my living quarters next winter in Fort Pierce, FL. She's a tough little vessel and other Ballerina II designs have made long passages, including circumnavigations.
This week I hope to add a canvas enclosure over the hatch and back deck. Also for living aboard I need to add an 120v AC system to power the refrigerator, electric heater and interior lighting when using shore power.
Hopefully she will be in the water soon. I would like to take her on a sail down to Bayfield, Wisconsin and the Apostle Islands.
