Ellen Pendergraft Gillette came by for a visit this afternoon. It was wonderful to see her again. She is a lady with many talents, including teaching, public speaking and acting ... and writing. In fact, she has a blog where she writes a poem a day, including one on Margaret that she posted on her blog soon after left today. How good is that! Even the Sock Monkey is impressed. Last winter after I had arrived in Fort Pierce by water from Lake Superior she did a wonderful story about me and how I liked Fort Pierce. It was published in the local paper. She is the Number 2 member of friendsoffortpierce.com.
